Every parent has experienced that difficult time when it’s time for the kids to go to bed. After trying everything possible to get children to go to bed, parents are left wondering what more they can do in an attempt to encourage their kids to go upstairs more willingly.
If your children know that they’re going upstairs to a place that they like to spend time in, there won’t be much of a problem getting them to go to bed. Of course, you can start with making their beds a little more exciting! A lot of children have bunkbeds, especially when they share a room together. Boys Bunk beds themselves are very exciting for children; however, they become boring over a period of time, and the mundane ritual of going upstairs for bed becomes tedious once again.
When you buy the girls bunk beds, take your kids with you to choose them. Look out for colorful ones or any that have pictures of some of their favorite TV characters. Peppa Pig and Iggle Piggle have got to be better than plain old wood! Additionally, if your children feel like they have chosen their own beds, they’re more likely to be excited about sleeping in them.
If you’ve already purchased the kids’ bunk beds but want to make them more exciting for your little ones, there’s still a lot that you can do. Buy your children some stickers that will peel off easily. Again, let them choose the stickers and allow them to decorate their own bunk beds with them. You’ll find them on the ladders, underneath the beds and along the headboard before you know it! As long as you get stickers that will peel off easily, they won’t stick to your kids’ bunk beds and leave a mess. They can also change the stickers every few months so they don’t get tired of looking at the same ones. If you make a little extra effort to make your kids’ beds and bedrooms more exciting, they’ll be running upstairs every night!
