I came across a blog post with Charm brushes product reviews and I instantly fell in love with the brushes. I think the pink handles caught my attention since I have a longtime love affair with the color pink.
When I accompanied my husband in Shangri-la Mall, I grabbed the opportunity to visit The Ramp, Crossings and checked on the rack of Charm brushes.Oh! I felt like I was in a brush haven and I even wanted to try all of the brushes on my face. But, of course, due to sanitary reasons, I didn’t.
Since, I just recently purchased a 32-piece make-up brush set, I decided to get the Charm Travel Pointed Brush. If only I learned about the Charm brushes first, I could have bought it instead of the other set that I got.
The Product:
Charm Travel Pointed Brush is part of the Charm Essentials Vegan Makeup Brush Collection. This ultra-versatile foundation brush applies and blends cream/liquid products to a flawless finish, and features a gently tapered tip that allows precision application on targeted areas, specially on the contours of the face. This product is perfect for concealing and foundation application.
This is made from a special, premium grade of animal-friendly vegan hair.
Packaging:
It comes with a care card stating all the information about the product and washing instructions.
Washing instructions according to Charm Essentials:
- Â Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.
-  Apply a small amount of shampoo/baby wash to bristles and work into a light lather.
- Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water until water becomes clear.
- Squeeze off excess water then lay the brushes flat to dry (not standing up).
- Leave in a well-ventilated place to dry.
Price:
The best value for your money. This good quality vegan brush costs P380.00 only or roughly around 9 USD. This is affordable compared to other good quality brushes.
What I love about the product?
- Since it is made from vegan hair, it is so soft. And, I perfectly love how the bristles brush through my face. No itchy feeling at all.
- It has right density that ensures efficient make-up application.
- Its firmness makes it easy to use.
- Perfect for hard to reach areas like under eye and sides of the nose.
- It gives a perfect, even and flawless finish.
- Best for liquid or powder foundation.
- The baby pink color of the handle is so feminine. I’m so in love with the color!
- Perfect for traveling and can fit into your regular sized pouch.
- It does not bleed when you’re using it,when you’re washing and even after the products were laid down to dry .
What I not so like about it?
- It takes time to dry, when you wash it. Based on my own experience, it took 2 days.
- I hope the handle is a bit longer.
Do I recommend this product?
Yes, Charm Travel Pointed Brush is a must-have for makeup enthusiasts like me most especially when you want to achieve a perfect and flawless finish. This can be a perfect gift to your sister, girlfriend, office mate and friends this coming Christmas.
Where to buy?
You can purchase this at The Ramp, Crossings, EDSA Shangri-la Mall.

I am currently looking for a good brush brand so thanks for the tip! The one I have is not so soft I want to look for a softer one.
I love make-up and one of the things I should invest on is a good quality makeup brush!
cool! we’ll neither do I wear make-up nor powder or foundations, I’m not comfortable with it on and my face itches. anyway, I love your iPhone case. so cute hehehhe.
That is a very cute brush and like the color too 🙂 It’s very easy to bring along too.

finding organic and natural products are indeed wonderful. thanks for the tip.
It is a good looking brush. I remember my painting brush ehhehe…
Even from the looks of it, it is already soft and seems easy to use. I agree, its pink handle really is cute. so kikay!
Cute brush! I’ve been meaning to buy new brushes now that I’m going eco-friendly hehe but I’d like to know how much the Charm brush retails in QC. Can you give me the price, sis? Thanks.
This brush costs me P380.00.
I’ve been meaning to buy Charm brushes but never had the chance to do so. I heard so many great reviews about it.
Charm brushes are really a must-have! =) It’s worth to have one most especially the Vegan Collection.
Looks like a really nice brush mommy. I am looking for new make-up brushes as well and still shopping online. I too wash my brush because I don’t want it to get really dirty, but when I dry it I don’t lay it flat, but I let it drip dry. Not with the brush up, but the brush down so the water won’t get into the handle of the brush and could get the glue to come off. I have to buy a brush guard too though perfect for travelling and for when drying brushes after washing so you can let it stand with brush down.
To be honest, I know nothing about makeup and brushes, but I’m interested to learn, and reading blog posts like yours makes me more informed about these girly stuff.
this is nice. I’m not really a pinky lover but I love this shade of pink! This is perfect for Christmas gift.
That is such a cute brush!
Wow, it’s affordable. Do they also have a retractable kabuki brush because I badly need one.
Yes, they have different sets of brushes. You may check their Multiply account or in Crossings, Shangri-La. =)
So cute!
I also just got a brush set, but it’s not the expensive kind, so I don’t know if it’ll last long, but so far so good.
I’m going to check out the malls here and see if they have that brand here too. 🙂
One thing I don’t like about brushes, is that it takes time for them to dry after washing. Patience is not my virtue, I guess :). But that’s a really nifty tool for women like us. We can prettify ourselves while on the go.
that’s the problem with mae up brushes.. it takes forever to dry.. specially this type of brush.. and the liquid tends to stick on the brush.. I’m looking out for a foundation brush that looks like a kabuki brush 🙂
Now I was reminded to wash my make-up brush.. The pink color is cute and I think it is handy too 🙂
