“The Bluebird” By Trumpets

Parents are constantly on the lookout for fun and wholesome entertainment for their kids. With all the violence and gore that’s available with just the touch of a remote or a computer mouse, parents wish for other options for family fun and amusement.

Trumpets understands this need and is proud to bring “The Bluebird”, a musical adaptation of the classic tale by Belgian playwright Maurice Maeterlinck. The Bluebird is about a magical adventure of two children in their quest for true happiness. With book and lyrics by Jaime del Mundo and music by Rony Fortich, this all-Filipino musical is ready to captivate children of all ages with a delightful story, colorful characters, beautiful music, fantastic production design, brilliant staging, hearty laughs, touching moments and a valuable lesson.

As the first Asian professional gospel theater group widely known for musicals that provide wholesome family entertainment such as “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”, “Little Mermaid”, “Joseph the Dreamer”, and “N.O.A.H.”, Trumpets dedicated the last three years developing “The Bluebird” and is very excited, along with other theater performers, about this big musical comeback. “I think it’s very exciting.   1. When it comes to Philippine theatre, Trumpets is one of the leader. It has brought many good talents and most especially musicals in the Philippines.

  2. I used to watch shows produced by Trumpets and I agree with you they are quality ones. I’ll try to bring my little boy into this and hope he’ll appreciate it.

  3. it is indeed hard to find wholesome shows/movies for kids these days. Good thing my children are aware of it and they themselves turns the tv off if it’s a violent show even if it’s cartoon show

  4. this sure looks like an interesting + fun way for the little ones to pass the time this summer! it has been ages since i’ve watched one, i hope i can see this with my little man.

    by the way, am just curious, what plug-in did you use for your related posts widget. i also have a genesis theme, but none of the plug-ins i’ve tried so far worked. they mess up my footer + sidebar, for some reasons. 🙁

  6. This is great, not only will this be entertaining it somehow expose the children to the world of stage musical and live performances. Who knows, your son’s and daughter’s could be an artist like the one’s playing on the theater =)

  7. The musical theatre presentation is an entertainment for the whole family. Personally, I want to experience to watch and see this kind of entertainment. Definitely my daughter will going to love this because of the realistic effect of scenes. Specially their costumes and make ups of the theatre actor.

  8. hmmm… sounds really really exciting. we are very fond of musicals, the first one my kids got to watch was Sound of Music, then we have High School Musical and Hair Spray. my kids would surely love that.
