I Love Wellness!
Yes, I am one of those aiming to live a healthier life. I’m proud that my husband and I don’t have vices but, healthy living encompasses not only living a life free of vices (smoking, drinking too much alcohol, taking illegal drugs, etc.) but more on eating balanced diet, having enough time of sleep, regular exercise and good personal hygiene.
More people are shifting and committing to wellness through the help of health awareness campaigns as promoted by different health advocates in TV, print ads, social media and even in grocery stores just like in Robinsons Supermarket. This is my family’s supermarket choice because of its cleanliness and orderliness. They have a health and wellness section where you can see wide-array of products that will help you achieve a healthier lifestyle. This is actually one of the sections I love.

In line with this, Robinsons Supermarket is holding a series of three-day Wellness Festivals to encourage Filipino families to eat healthy and make more educated nutritional decisions. I attended the first leg in Robinsons Magnolia which took place last June 19 and lasted until June 22. The next series will be held at Robinsons Ermita from July 18-20 and Robinsons Imus from July 25-27.
The Wellness Festival kicked-off with an event hosted by Ms. Angel Jacob and graced by Robinsons Supermarket executives, media friends and guests. On its 7th year, it showcases more fun and engaging booths that will encourage consumers to try out healthier options and practices.
The Kramers – Doug Kramer, Cheska Garcia-Kramer and their cute little angels Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin, also known as TEAM KRAMER in social media, were also present during the event as celebrity guests to educate and inspire everyone on how to have healthier choices without compromising happy family life. According to Kramer matriarch, Cheska Garcia-Kramer, three important things should be present in order to achieve wellness – eat right, right amount of exercise and havea happy outlook in life. Doug shared that they also have a “cheat day” occasionally but they make sure that there is “balance” in all aspects of their life.

To provide up-to-date information on food and its nutrient contributions, they partnered with the Department of Science and Technology’s Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI), hence, further establishing its position in promoting health and wellness.
