If you find yourself craving for delicious and savory dishes in Quezon City area, I suggest you visit Taste of Capitol, a fun new bistro-diner located at SB Building, Tomas Morato corner Scout Delgado Street.
At Taste of Capitol, all-American favorites partnered with Filipino specialties and create a delicious fusion of East and West targeting diners of all ages. Its main concept is inspired from the famous bistro / diners from the West serving delish comfort food to everyone day in and day out.
The moment you step your foot inside this resto, you’ll instantly feel the combination of American and Filipino style. There’s a huge LED TV on one side where you can spare some moment to watch while waiting for your ordered food. The tables and walls are painted colorfully setting a happy atmosphere inside. Tables and chairs are also spaciously arranged for diners’ comfort.
Taste of Capitol’s menu line-up is filled with sumptuous selection of appetizers, mains, desserts, specialty drinks and even all-day breakfast.

For dessert, Taste of Capitol serves ice cream sundaes, vanilla or chocolate milk shakes, mango shake and halo-halo, which are perfect to cap off a decadent meal.
Taste of Capitol also serves a variety of flavored beer that a group of friends may want to try. There’s Quebec (cassis flavor), Victoria (rose flavor), Sourizza (lime flavor), and Flamefizz (lychee flavor). Alcohol shots like whiskey, rhum, gin, tequila, brandy, and vodka are also available at the restaurant.
Taste of Capitol Breakfast Menu
The breakfast selection is divided into two groups:
1. Big Breakfast is available from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 12noon and Sunday from 7am to 12noon
- Classic Pancake & Bacon (four pancakes and six bacons)
- Bacon & Egg (six bacons, two eggs and rice)
- Big Breakfast (spam, two bacons, hotdog, longganisa, and tocino)
- Breakfast Sausage (four sausages, two toasts, and two eggs).
2. All-Day Breakfast
There’s also the All-Day Breakfast fare like Spam Hotdog & Bacon, Bacon Bits Mix Tocino, Bangus at Laing, Bangus at Tocino, Boneless Bangus, Pork Sisig, Corned Beef, Beef Tapa, Calamares, and Longganisa. All these are served with plain rice and egg.
