#WatsonsHair: Color Your Hair Bold

Hair coloring is popular in today’s society. It is often said that our hair is usually the first thing other people notice whenever we meet a new acquaintance. Hence, it is otherwise called our crowning glory that either make or break our entire look. In this day and age where hair care products are easily accessible for purchase and where different salons spruce up in every corner, having a great hair is no longer a vanity but more of considered as a necessity. It’s a statement both of individuality and fashion.

For first-timers, choosing the right hair color to blend your appearance and lifestyle can be confusing and overwhelming with so many options to choose from the market. You have to make sure that it matches your skin tone. A perfect match hue can totally enhance one’s look and self-esteem. I find this process somewhat similar when choosing the perfect makeup.

I have dyed my hair many times. I started during my college days, and I never had a problem. Most of the time, I go for the Do-It-Yourself hair coloring process. Not only it is cheaper but also time-saving because I don’t need to spend hours in the salon. It’s usually my mom or my auntie who’s responsible for my hair color and it’s always done here at home just like my hair color featured in the photo above. If you are coloring at home, you have to make sure that you carefully read the instructions and labels of your desired and trusted brand of hair coloring products to prevent hair damage.

However, most Filipinas are still afraid to try the DIY hair coloring process because of their fear to damage their hair. Just in time, Watsons’ launched its “Color Your Hair Bold” campaign which aims to reduce these worries of women by highlighting that hair coloring is not only fun, but it is also safe, affordable and easy. On top of all, you can actually do it at home.
