LBC Introduces Cash On Pick-Up (COP) and Cash On Delivery (COD) Services

As an online buyer and seller, I know the pros and cons of online transactions. Hence, I was elated when LBC introduced their Cash On Pick-Up (COP) and Cash On Delivery (COD) services. Why? Because there’s now an answer to my major concerns/dilemmas whenever I shop and sell online.

The formal launch was held at New World Makati attended by LBC officials, online partners, media and bloggers.

My Experience as an Online Shopper

Just a little background, my online shopping experience started when Keisha was born. Since I can’t go out of the house to shop, I found comfort in shopping for Keisha’s clothes and other belongings online. It was so fun that I get to buy imported goods from US like shoes, apparels, toys, feeding bottles and even organic snacks, and have it delivered at my doorstep without worrying for taxes and other fees. Then, I encountered a seller from Mindanao who took away my Three Thousand Pesos (P3,000.00). I was in disbelief that I was scammed. From then on, I started to be very cautious with my online purchases.

However, that incident didn’t stop me from shopping online because it’s really very convenient. It saves me time and energy to go to malls and shop for more. Plus, it’s so traffic, why would I risk going out when I can have what I want with just few clicks. But, with all of the advantages, there are also disadvantages of online shopping like possibility of being scammed, receiving low quality products (you surely know how deceiving photos can be), wrong size and so much more.

My Experience as an Online Seller

As an online seller for the past 3-4 years, I must say that the process is not a walk in the park. Because, first, I have to deal with my buyer’s whims and requests plus I always consider their convenience over mine. Typical example of the slight struggle I face as a seller would be the customer’s choice of mode of payment. There are buyers who opt to pay on the nearest establishment in their area. However, on my part, I prefer to receive payment thru bank deposit because it’s hard to collect payment from different establishments. Another concern that I have is that, it’s hard to find a reliable courier service that can deliver on time.  Good thing, I learned about LBC. I’ve tried their service and I experienced first hand how fast and reliable they are. With them,  my package is surely delivered to my customer in 1 -2 days even to those who reside in remote areas. They also notify me via text stating that my package was already received.

They have been my trusted partner for my online business for the past years because they provide a fast, reliable, convenient and effective service. I would like to commend the LBC – Robinsons Metro East Branch, as their staff are very helpful, easy to deal with, and they provide fast service to their customers.

LBC Introduces Cash On Pick-Up (COP) and Cash On Delivery (COD) Services

Here’s good news for all of us who love transacting online, LBC recently launched their newest services – Cash On Pick-Up (COP) and Cash On Delivery (COD), to meet client’s e-commerce demands.

These services utilize two of LBC’s core services:

  • as a courier of parcels and boxes
  • as a payment collection channel

Cash on Pickup (COP)

LBC’s Cash on Pickup guarantees convenient and seamless transactions between seller and buyer since they’ll act as a trading place for the buy and sell transaction.

Here’s how it works:

The buyer will add LBC as a pick up point, instead of having it delivered at home, office, or meet ups. Payment will be made upon pick up. With this, the buyer is assured that he’ll get the products in mint condition.

This is highly recommended to those who do not want to disclose their home or office address for security purposes. And, also to those living in remote areas that are not accessible by courier services.

On the part of the seller, the online transaction is guaranteed safe and reliable as he or she will be paid. The said payment will then be deposited by LBC to the seller’s bank account.

Cash On Delivery (COD)

LBC’s Cash on Delivery service answers the fear of buyers to pay ahead of time without receiving the products yet. Hence, you are assured that fraudulent transactions won’t happen. With this, buyers will pay upon delivery of the goods. This will save them time going to the bank or other money remittance center to deposit payment and the best part, this will give them assurance that they get the product they’ll pay for in good condition.

On the part of the seller, LBC will directly remit the payment to their desired bank account or they can just go to any LBC branch and receive their payment.

    1. Your services is very poor. Before you could get your money you will wait for almost 8 hours because there is no notification sent for us costumers if we can get our money or what. Easy and fast way ? It what aspect is that ? Its my second time using cop and everytime I collect the payment of my costumer I will wait 8 hours for your notification.

      1. It sucks. In my case almost 3days na wala pa din na send sa bank acct ko yung payment ni buyer. fucking bullshit lbc.

      1. Im a sell as well and use COP thru my bank account. the item was claimed and was paid the amount to be collected, that was Thursday, then i went to LBC store to check on the status of the COP and she said that since its a bank deposit it will take a month , and she also said that other still not able to get their money more than a month. is this true? if this is true this is not good for us sellers because we invested money then it will take a month or more before we get what we invested? if this is about Covid, the teller didnt advise me that it will take a month before we get the money that need to be collected, if she advise me i might do other option that COP thru bank account. please answer this. this is beyond disappointment.

  15. THIS COP IS A BIG BULLSHIT. IVE PAID 800 FOR TH SHIPPING FEE AND THIS IS THE KIND OF SERVICE THAT I GET FROM LBC? NO TEXTS IF THE ITEM ARRIVED IN YOUR BRANCH? I TRIED TO CALL THE ATTENTION OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT NO RESPONSE!!! KINUHA NA NG CUSTOMER KO YUNG ITEM AND YET WALA PA DING TEXT SA LBC NA PWEDE KO NG KUNIN YUNG PERA!!! BWISET KAYO

  18. Poor customer service !!!! J Centre mall LBc branch tellers are very snobby !! Hindi pa accomodating ! Hope ma reach po tung concern ku sa management ninyu na tu please please please teach them how to handle their customers properly ! ?

  19. I did 2 COP transactions , so i paid 95 each for the shipping fee. I have no idea when will LBC deposit to my bank acct, as per instruction from “kuya” wait 3-4 days and it’ll be deposited. It has been a week now, not even a single call or notification from LBC that they owe me 190.00 pesos. As an online seller, this is the worst idea to deliver parcels! Pls do something about this. Their hotline is so HOT nobody dared to ans my calls! Disappointing!

  22. Hi good day mam/sir.

I would like to ask lang po sana kung mapipick up ba ni customer ung items (COP) kahit ung valid i.d niya ay expired na pero may text na po galing lbc for claiming na at may tracking no.

    Tia

  23. IF ang item na pinadala ng seller hindi tama, o ang box walang laman – ano safety mechanism ng LBC COP? Hindi ba i release/remit to seller ang payment? TY

  24. Your system is flawed! Electronically, You should return the “fee” to the seller pag COP ang method of shipping right away at wag pag-hintayin si seller. Kasi i-re-refund ni seller si buyer pag nakuha na yung item. Dapat automatic release sa seller yung pera pag COP. Hindi yung hahabulin pa ni Seller ang LBC! .

  25. How about the buyer?how to make sure that the product is legit or same in the description by the seller..what if i want to open the item first to make sure that the product is true or legit, just to make sure that that the item is from the legit seller not from the scamer? Can i open first the package before i pay in COP service..sometimes the scamer using the process of cop in bad thing.
